Since 2003 the company has performed across the UK and internationally in Ireland, Zambia, Croatia, France, Italy, Germany, Greece and New York, winning the award for ‘Best Choreography’ for Wolf Red in 2016 at the United Solo Festival, New York.

Physical Fest is our International Festival of Physical Theatre. Unique to the UK, it brings incredible world-class artists to Liverpool in a vibrant festival celebrating physical theatre.

Tmesis was originally formed by Elinor Randle, Kate Cave and Yorgos Karamalegos in 2003 who came together from a love of physical work after completing the Hope Street Physical Theatre Programme. It has been run since 2009 by Artistic Director, Elinor Randle, who collaborates with a team of associate artists to create work.
