Based in Liverpool the company has created and developed high quality, and accessible physical theatre since 2003. They have toured nationally and internationally to over ten countries, receiving critical acclaim for the unique style of movement-based theatre, as well as their development of physical theatre in the north through their annual international festival, Physical Fest.
We create physical theatre performance which is; fresh, current, and continuously searches for new ways in which to express ideas, ask questions, tell stories and explore human nature.
The company is led by Artistic Director, Elinor Randle, who works with a team of regular associate artists.

is an annual International Physical Theatre Festival, the only international festival specialising solely in physical theatre in the UK, it hosts 10 days of world class workshops, performance, street theatre and events, working with artists and participants locally, nationally and internationally.
The company has a commitment to participatory work through an annual programme as well as the training and development of artists through the Tmesis Training Company and mentoring of local companies.
